مجموعه کتابهای Business Vocabulary in Use با هدف کمک به زبان آموزان برای افزایش دامنه لغات و تسلط بر عبارات مرتبط با دنیای بیزنس یا کسبوکار به رشته تحریر در آمده است. این کتابها هم برای افرادی که هنوز در حال تحصیل هستند و هم برای آنهایی که هماکنون در حال کار و فعالیت در بازار کار هستند تهیه و تنظیم گردیده است. طراحی این کتابها به گونهای است که هم قابلیت کار در کلاس را دارند و هم اینکه میتوانید به صورت خودخوان و خودآموز به مطالعه آنها بپردازید.
ساختار کتابهای Business Vocabulary in Use
هر کتاب به صورت 66 واحد (کتاب اول 62 درس دارد) یا یونیت 2 صفحهای تنظیم شده است. صفحه سمت چپ همواره حاوی توضیح کلمهها و عبارات جدید و کاربردی یونیت مربوطه خواهد بود که در صفحه سمت راست به تمرین، یادگیری و درک بهتر آنها خواهید پرداخت.
در کتاب اول (Business Vocabulary in Use, Elementary and Pre-Intermediate)، برخی از درسها به موضوعات مختلف مرتبط با کسبوکار و برخی دیگر به مهارتهای مربوطه (مثلاً مباحث مربوط به ایمیل یا جلسات کاری) میپردازند. به علاوه، چهار درس با عنوان Learner Training نیز در این مجموعه گنجانده شده که در آنها درباره زبان، تلفظ، یادگیری لغات و استفاده از دیکشنری صحبت میشود.
در کتاب دوم (Business Vocabulary in Use, Intermediate)، 46 درس اول هر کدام تم مخصوص به خود را دارند و به موضوعات مختلف مانند مردم، سازمانها، تولید، بازاریابی و اقتصاد میپردازند. در 20 درس بعد بر روی مهارتهای لازم در کسبوکار مانند مهارتهای ضروری در ارائه و اجرا، جلسات، تماس تلفنی و مذاکرات تمرکز شده است.
در کتاب سوم (Business Vocabulary in Use, Advanced)، 59 درس اول تم دارند و موضوعات مهمی مانند منابع انسانی، کیفیت، استراتژی، آمایش و لجستیک، فناوری اطلاعات، بازاریابی، امور اقتصادی، مسئولیتهای سازمانی و اقتصاد جهانی را مد نظر قرار میدهند. سه درس در این کتاب مخصوصاً برای کسبوکار در فرهنگهای دیگر طراحی شده و چهار درس پایانی سطح پیشرفته بر روی مهارتهای نوشتاری تمرکز خاص دارد
کتابهای این مجموعه دارای cross-referencing است، به این معنی که ارتباط کلمات معرفی شده یا کلمههای مشابه در زمینهها و درسهای مختلف نشانهگذاری شده است.همچنین، کتابهای مجموعه Business Vocabulary in Use دارای پاسخنامه نیز هستند.
